True, and I wasn't claiming to fix your BT problem. That said, I had some trouble tethering with BT on my work laptop on the latest MR6 so I ran the new HTC wifi sharing program and it worked perfectly, first try, no bs. You literally run the program and optionally change the SSID and WEP key of your host connection, then press Start. It even handles turning WiFi on and off when you open it and close it. It doesn't get any simpler or more universal than this. And BT is not a waste on your netbook, btw - you can use a BT wireless mouse with it.

Try it and see if you still want to use BT: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=75461

Never used a backup program but if you backed up the WM6.1 system and tried to restore it to the latest MR (WM6.5) then you made a huge mistake. That was like doing a system backup of Win XP and restoring it on top of a fresh install of Vista.

Ya. I am thinking the same thing right now. If I let the phone sit long enough, it works great (as I found out how long is "long enough"). The sad thing is, I have to go back and clear everything out and go back to 6.1 windows if I want to keep my contacts and calender stuff (the only two things I backed up). wish there is a way to turn back time.

Don't you have all your contacts and calendar, in Outlook, on your pc? If so, just flash fresh and then sync all your contacts and calendar back to your phone. If that is all you backed up, I can't see why this would be an issue.

I unlocked the phone, flashed Mightyrom6 on to the system. did a Hard reset. The phone worked great! very fast. (the new windows is SoSo. I don't like the front screen). I went to restore the data with databackup and now the phone is 8x laggier then before I started today. Also, my 'text' comes up as 'call history'.

Any idea?

Before people ask me to search, please under stand there is over 200+ pages of stuff.

update: booting the phone (soft boot) it is crashing.
i would recommend the (seemingly) standard procedure for the 7/18 MR6. it's prolly posted on every page for the last 50 now.

1) flash back to stock ROM
2) download fresh copy of MR6
3) flash MR6
4) clear storage

done!

Re: [July 18th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

All right, my keyboard has ceased to work again 95% of the time. Is NOBODY else having this problem? The keyboard seemed to function perfectly when I flashed back to stock, though, which means I'd have a hard time proving it's a hardware problem to Sprint. But if absolutely nobody else is having this trouble, then I'm going to have to consider flashing to stock and putting up with it for a few days to verify it's a hardware problem. Anyone?

Have not personally experienced this issue, It's sounds like you might have to experience stock, Just to ensure it may be hardware, sorry man.

Is this the only ROM that you are having issues with the keyboard?
