Re: [July 18th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

I know this is a stupid question, but I have been off the forums for quite some time. I just flashed over to the new MR6, and the rom is super different. What happened to the regular left-right TF3D? Im just a little confused now. I thought it was going to be the same as my old rom, but its completely different.

Edit: seems like this is something about a "titanium" skin? Im so out of the loop.

If you want to use TF3D, go to settings/today and select it from the list.

the rom you were running previously was probably 6.1 based, which usually comes prepackaged with TF3D (Manilla). MR6 is 6.5 based, which has alot of changes to help be more finger friendly, one of which is a new windows gui (Titanium). One thing to keep in mind, TF3D is not a product of windows, it runs over the top of the stock today screen, whereas titanium is built into windows. It can be turned off, just pointing out that is actually built into the os by default. Give it a try, its pretty nice once you get used to it.

Yup. First thing I would do is try another radio (or re-flash the one you were using). Try the Telus radio and let me know if this doesn't fix you up.

You can't go wrong if you flash MR6 and then a new radio. You'll be at square 1, so there's no room for error. From there, restore your backup and see if you have the problem.

Of course - this is assuming you really ARE in an evdo area.
