Re: [July 18th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

I have a quick question - I am going to update to the latest ROM (thanks MightyMike!) and I use a program called SPB backup to backup all my programs and stuff... if I put the new rom on and restore my programs through SPB Backup, will it mess with any registry edits Mighty has made in this new rom? Anyone know?

You should be able to update the ROM from your Custom ROM to the next Custom ROM. Flashing back is a waste of time becasue it just adds another Flash to to life of your ROM. Who knows how many Flashes can take? Im at 30 and I am still going strong. If this helps show me some thank you love.

But it IS smart to hard reset after you flash your custom ROM. It helps to clear out any craziness!

ONLY use SPB for contacts, My Docs, and MAYBE e-mail. The rest you need to do separately. If you restore system data, you'll basically be restoring the previous ROM you had loaded.

You should check out a program called Sashimi over at winmo-experts.com. VERY easy to use with great tutorials. You can set up cabs, exes, xml, and reg files to AUTO INSTALL after you flash!!!

Thank you for the quick response, I am flashing now so you saved me some headaches had I tried to restore!

I am going to check out that link because that would save me a lot of time! Seems I am reflashing weekly now. Much appreciated!

Re: [July 18th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

I am having problems with this july 18th update. It receives the call but takes a good 5-8 sec to ring, and bring up the answer screen. It trys to bring up the lock screen answer screen and it seems like its fighting with the regular answer screen. Are others having this problem?

NO. Did you clear storage after you installed the rom?

Same thing, if I have my phone locked with the windows default locker and the phone rings it doesnt bring up an answer screen for a good 8 seconds. It trys to use both the lock answer screen and the HTC answer screen
