Hi,

For those of you claiming 30+ hours, are you counting hours on airplane mode? I get 12-14 hours before I hit around 10%, and that's with moderate use. I'm on the Tiamat 3.3.2 kernel with setcpu using 'smartass' governor, with a setting of 245/~1000.

Re: [4-10-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc10][HORSE-STABLE]

Am rocking RC10 since last night...definitely kudos to the chef.

I have been rolling with CM since nightlies BEFORE CM6...so I've been kinda stuck.

Am glad to find a lot of the same features in this ROM as in CM...I do like the fact that this ROM is MORE vanilla than CM. Using Launcher 7 with no apparent issues so far.

I would love to flash another kernal...but the stock kernal is very stable FOR me...so I think I'm gonna stick with this.

Only quirk I found seems to be the Market not recognizing all the apps already installed. I did use the specific gapps that was mentioned in OP...maybe there's a new one out?

Well, Deck said the gapps is really really thinned out because of some problem people were having with flash so some apps that come standard on most ROMs must be installed through the market, for example: gmail. I had to reinstall flash, gmail, and maps through the market myself when I flashed the rc10

+1 to that...I had to reinstall gmail myself as well...that wasn't a big deal. I actually liked the gapps that gets linked with CM's downloads...as soon as u reboot after THAT gapps flash...you get prompted on which google apps you want to be downloaded to the phone.

Question 1- are you on 4G?
Question 2- are you using any auto-sync/refresh programs?
Question 3- are you keeping GPS on at all times?
Question 4- how long have you had Tiamat running as your kernel?
Question 5- are you using the SBC version?

If the answer to any of the first 3 is yes, then you're not getting the most out of your battery life. If the answer to 4 is less than a week, then you might not be seeing your "true" battery life yet. If the answer to 5 is no, then you're not getting everything out of your battery's charge. Also, there are some people that use a HAVS kernel that automatically does undervolting. The more you undervolt, the less battery you use, though it can cause rebooting much like overclocking can.

Also Deck-

Y U NO RELEASE 1.0 YET?!

NO

Question 2- are you using any auto-sync/refresh programs?
Yes, of course, gmail and gcal and beautiful weather widget (set at 4 hours interval)

Question 3- are you keeping GPS on at all times?
No, have tasker script to only turn on when maps/nav is on.

Question 4- how long have you had Tiamat running as your kernel?
About 2 weeks

Question 5- are you using the SBC version?
Yes, from here:'

I might try an underclocking shell script like the one here: [MOD][.ZIP]Lower Voltages on AOSP Kernels - Updated 4.11.11 - xda-developers
