Re: [4-10-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc10][HORSE-STABLE]

Well i flashed RC10 with SZ 0.2.1 CFS and its smooth as silk. SZ above 0.2.1 get way too laggy . Did the same on CM7. Anyone else running this combo?

PS . everything is working perfectly.

I can only use savage 1.0.1 or the phone acts too weird, I get great battery life.

Re: [4-10-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc10][HORSE-STABLE]

Ran the GPS fix with OMJ's ROM and installed RC10. GPS is working fine. Walked around for 2 1/2 hours running GPS, WiFI and Navizon, a couple short phone calls and emails, battery is only down to 73%! Looks like the kinks are gone...
Thanks Deck

Re: [4-10-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc10][HORSE-STABLE]

I came from from CM7 nightlie 35, then onto Mik Froyo, then onto VaelPak and now to RC10. I am using base kernel and it seems to be working awesome. Battery life is good. launch is good. Ditto to GPS, internet, 3g, and so forth.

The other roms I have tested came with flashy but cheesy boot animations. RC10 is sleek and stylish with the basic "ANDROID"

Does this rom offer 720p recording?
I am planning on staying here for a while. It is the only rom to where i have been totally satisified.

Re: [4-10-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc10][HORSE-STABLE]

From what ppl are saying it must be the newest SZ kernel that is the culprit for me (1.1.0 CFS, SBC)...when i was on RC7 with the older SZ it was great, then RC8 & 10 were laggy (I never flashed RC9)..im currently on 10 with SZ 1.1.0 CFS, and last night i fell asleep with 4G on for the 1st time, my gf called me at 2am when she was off work, and when i hung up my phone rebooted to the animation and got stuck until I pulled the battery after about 8 minutes! I was pissed lol..1st time that happened yet, Im gona flash an older SZ with 10.

Sounds just about like time to come to the deck-side. Just waiting patiently for 4G tether.... my laptop would never forgive me if I rolled him back to 3G tether...

Re: [4-10-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc10][HORSE-STABLE]

I am experiencing an issue with playing music. The expected behavior of EVO is that if a call is received while playing music, the music would stop and resume after the call ends. With this rom, the music does not resume after the call ends. The music sometime ends when a text message or email is received as well.

Could you please look into this?

Another thing I notice is that I cannot browse the internet while on a call. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

With Sprint's CDMA, you can't call and browse at the same time, unless you're on WIFI. not a ROM issue.

Re: [4-10-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc10][HORSE-STABLE]

Idk about the stock music app, but i use the honeycomb music player apk from xda and it works great, after i hang up the music continues, etc. I listen to music on my phone a lot too, several times a week at the gym, at the pool, etc. I'm on RC10 but ive been using the music app since beta 6, so its not the rom. And 4G tether works pretty good for me also, takes a while to connect, but once it does, its faster then my home connection. I use the built in tether thing. Just waiting for 720p recording and ill be all set! =)
