Do you have plans to submit your changes back to the CM7 team? I really like your work, and the battery life is outstanding, but I think it would be best for the community overall if there was some communication of these kinds of tweaks between ROM maintainers.

I just had a spontaneous reboot this AM. Was running 4G, as I do in the office and the phone rebooted. Also, I am not getting "great" battery life. I use a Seidio 3500 mAh LiPo battery and it seems I am getting worse battery life than normal.

Normally I run an SBC kernel.

hey, great ROM. I have a really weird flickering issue with the launcher after I take about ten pictures. When I close the camera, the launcher flashes as it tries to exit and becomes quite unstable for about 30 seconds. For what it is worth, I realized I have the same issue on evervolv, but not on CM7RC2 with ADW. I did try changes kernels as well. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the GB Deck! I have been fighting google talk since yesterday. Ive spent most of my day here at work tryin to get it on my phone with various issues. The furthest ive been able to get is where talk shows its installed, but when you fire it up it FCs. The talk.apk Deck provided on one of the first pages wont install. Ive tried to pickup many different talk apks, both odexed and not and still no luck. PLEASE HELP!!

I am having issues with Google Talk too, I dont like the built in app either so pulling it out was fine with me... until I realized today that the app may be gone but my account is still logged in and I cant log it out without the app (and its logged in after reboot)
When i get an IM I get a notification but cant open that either. I just dloaded the apk Deck posted, I will let you know how far i get with it...
Edit: Due to lack of patience I just flashed cm7 gapps. had to reinstall gmail/maps/streetview, but all seems well now...

My battery life isn't horrible, but it was quite a bit better on OMJ's Froyo ROM. I had issues with WiMAX and tethering also, but it seemed to work after reboot. Got decent 4g speeds and streamed 720p video on my TV with no issues.

Is there a way to enable WiMAX on boot? I use it a lot, so I'd rather not have to enable it every time I reboot. Thanks!
