If the answer to any of the first 3 is yes, then you're not getting the most out of your battery life. If the answer to 4 is less than a week, then you might not be seeing your "true" battery life yet. If the answer to 5 is no, then you're not getting everything out of your battery's charge. Also, there are some people that use a HAVS kernel that automatically does undervolting. The more you undervolt, the less battery you use, though it can cause rebooting much like overclocking can.

No, have tasker script to only turn on when maps/nav is on.
