Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.2 Custom ROM v2.1 | FroYo 3.26.651.6 | *Updated 8/5/10*
Same basic principle but here's another option without having to do the factory reset:

The first method worked for me. I did not test this. The PRI update portion is exactly the same, just dont have to factory reset. Just throwing it out there. This method may take multiple attempts as well.

I dont and did not see an error. The PRI is not included in the ROM (never was). We got knocked back to 1.34 when we unlocked Nand via Toast II. Now all we're doing is forcing an update back to 1.40. PRI/PRL/radios are separate from the ROM. Do you mean PRI? See above Quote:
What are you trying to update? Just the kernel? Then just flash it from recovery, no need to wipe unless you run into issue and need to reflash the kernel, THEN wipe cache and dalvik before the reflash. |

OK, then like I said just flash it over an older one. That's how I do it.

Which steps are you trying? Are you positive you dont have it? You will see the "no firmware available" message even when it works. Check Menu/settings/about phone/software info to be sure http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...3&d=1281148182 |
