Uncapped FPS/overall snappiness.

That and has anyone found a way to increase the color palate? Right now it's only 65K colors but you can see the limitations when you load color intensive wallpapers on there.

The stock kernel with the new (and working?) wifi tether sounds like the way to go...
On the nose! Also the stuff about the streaming worries me. I'm quite happy with 1.9 but as soon as a more worry free 2.2 is released I don't think I'll be switching. I love my OMJ rom and pancakes.

haha, I agree with you man. By the way, Big J's (or whatever his name was) Mario ROM on the 6700 (Apache) was the one I ran back then... I was just listing the possible problems since you asked.

The stock kernel with the new wifi tethering seems like the best bet if you want stability...

OK, I just flashed the OMJ rom with the stock kernel.
Verified that my camera is working at 8MP (checked sizes from older photos)
I installed the newer Wifi Tethering program (link provided) and it does work.

My question is: With Wifi tethering working, plus 8MP cam working, why swap to the newer kernel? Is there an advantage?

I just realized that all the icons on all my screens are doubled up...(2.1 froyo w/ custom kernel)
Could this be caused by running TB restore twice? Or is anyone else noticing this?
