Similar thing happened to me the other day, and I'm still on 1.5. Without much use, the phone went down in a day from 11MB storage mem free to .5, and flashed up the critical memory message. I couldn't figure out what took up all the space, so I cleared out another MB with the intention to look into it more later, and then it filled up that MB in the next hour or so, and froze. I was then unable to reboot, since it'd freeze on startup, probably because it had no memory to use, though I wouldn't have thought that would kill it. Ended up having to hard reset to get it working again.

Whole thing was pretty mysterious...

I know it might sound obvious, but have you emptied your outlook trash? I was having similar issues, and this was the cure-all!

OMJ this thing is just wonderful. I can't reccommend it enough.

Does Anyone know of a good BG4all type of program that works with this? I really don't like MaxManilla.

Yep, amarullz just put out an RC1 version of 2012, he said when he was done porting he would update the locker & all the other mods.....so we wait...

but u should get more than 60 free... i had over 60 without using lzx.
i'm assuming u use the newer manila right?
if u r... then it takes up a little more space, and if u don't use the cfc version even more space, but i dont think its even close to 20mb more.
the ringtones that i take out probably free up to 5mb... i think less but im estimating.
i'm still in 1921 cuz i'm waiting for 2011-2012 port to be exactly the same as 1921 when it comes to album and music tabs... and still waiting for some more mods before i move to it... seriously, i think there is nothing wrong with the 1921 speed... especially if u use sys 28014 or sys 23529.
i know it might be a weird request... but it would be nice if u try my rom, or i can send the list of packages that i included just so u can see where the difference is when it comes to all that free space.
been awhile since I've flashed someone elses, but I'll check it out! thx

maybe u can send me your build log...

Mobile monger will run fine from internal storage too. Also, you can change opera mobile's cache to internal storage (have to search for how...I can't remember).

*edit - I didn't realize that the new version of mobile monger costs money. I have attached the free version from calc's kitchen. Just copy the .exe to internal storage and run the .exe on your phone.

Also, if you use Google Maps, it will take up more and more Main Storage space over time, even if installed to Internal Storage. This is due to it storing your user data to the Main Storage Application Data\Google Maps Folder. For that reason alone, I use Bing instead of Google Maps with the Diamond and Sense 2.5 for the most part. Please note that you can set up ClearTemp, in it's main settings area, to clean specific folders. In turn, you can have it clean the Google Maps Application Data Folder if needed. Plus, you can have it clean the Application Data\HTC\Album\Cache as well as Application Data\HTC\Prolauncher Folder or another folder that loads up with data, like mwalt2 stated. This will help save precious space as well. Further, if you're still running low on Main Storage, make sure to have all email attachments set to be stored on Internal Storage as well as all images including videos, pictures, etc... You can also move wallpapers there too.

LIke OMJ said, Sense 2.5 is not meant for the Diamond, so you're going to have to move things and manage your available storage much more. Here, I load around hundred extra programs and games, push everything possible to Internal Storage, use ClearTemp, SKtools, and MemMaid to manage the system resources, and am able keep 10MB's to 14MB's of Main Storage free with OMJ's Sense 2.5 ROMs.

Hope this helps...

Moreover, thanks again OMJ for all the great cooking work, and thank you mwalt2 for posting the MobileMonger zip as well as all your other helpful posts. Cheers!
Best to all,
R

Hey OMJ, I've been pretty quiet last few updates, first, rom still is nice, don't see how you keep getting better and better....

but...

I hadn't noticed, but I could of missed, has anyone said anything about the txt messages, man tab always shows the first 2 txt's I received (when installing the latest update 2/12), so if a new text comes in, it bumps #3 down and puts the new one in the #3 slot, #1 and #2 are always the same

I haven't had any issues with anything like that. You might want to try to reflash.

Latest update so far OMJ has been running great! The only thing I've found is while in the HTC Messaging for texts, I can't push the bottom button to get rid of the keyboard, I have to click up in the actual message area.

turns out I didnt need it....flashed your rom just for comparison, yours is still on 1921, mine is 2012 which I think is alittle bigger. Nice rom btw, heavily skinned which looks nice but just not my cup of tea.

I did some serious cleaning in my kitchen, you guys wanted space well by golly u gonna get some space....cooked a 1921 rom and it had 93mb free. Just cooked a 2012 non-CFC rom & it has 85mb free.....CFC will boost that even more, next update should be out soon, maybe tonight

htc messaging is annoying in its current state. first, when you have more than 1 message in history with a person and you try to reply then the keyboard cuts off half your first line from view.

second, the send button is also obscurred by the keyboard (obviously the design works better on wvga) so before you cab press send you must minimize the keyboard.

third, when making a new message by pressing the search button,no results come up. same thing happens in the dialer when you try to add to an existing contact.
