Wow OMJ, 85 MB's of Main Storage free after flash sounds great, especially with the non-CFC'd Sense 2012 VGA port. Does this 85 MB number include Sense 2012 with Landscape working and MSVC built in? Regardless, cheers & many thanks!

Also, OMJ, what is CFC? Looking forward to the next release.
If I remember correctly, the 2012 version of Sense was originally designed for WVGA devices with slower processors than the HD2. In turn, it should work somewhat smoother and be a little more responsive on the Diamond. Other than that, HTC Messaging is working, but currently has a few bugs.

CFC is a compression method for Manila TF3D and Sense image files that greatly reduces the overall file size. Many thanks as well to Chainfire; the Developer of CFC.

Best to all,
R

I'll have updated 2012 ROMs uploaded shortly for both 28014 & 21887!

Loving the ROM, OMJ! I just have a glitch to report.

When I get texts the keyboard will randomly pop up, no matter where I am. I could be calling someone, and it'll show up when I get a text while I'm on a call. I am using the default HTC keyboard, not the FingerKeyboard.

Keep up the good work, OMJ! Thanks!

Re: OMJ's HTC Sense 2.5 & 2.1 ROMs | WM 6.5 / WM 6.5.x | 21055 / 21887 / 28014 | 2/12

Running Sense 2.5 28014. Love the build. I dont really know what to expect in the way of battery life, since im new to diamond in general. I make maybe one call a day, have my weather update every 3 hours and barely make it a day on this phone. I have a refurb unit, so im not sure it came with a good battery to begin with?

I understand there is a .cab to explore battery drain to see what the usage is?

I also found some tips. Can anyone recommend doing any of the following?
I cant seem to get the auto backlight setting to work. (its selected but doesnt seem to change when I cover the sensor.)

disconnect network when idle for 1 min timeout
Registry path:
HKLM\Comm\CommMgr\Planner\Settings\
Set "CacheTime" to 60
Set "SuspendResume" to 58 00 00 00 33 00 99 00 88 00 39 00 58 00 39 00 29
Default is #777 and should not contain anything about GRPS
setting SuspendResume" to "58 00 00 00 33 00 99 00 88 00 39 00 58 00 39 00 29"
makes it so you can make calls while you have a data connection.
YOU CANNOT have both on at same time
before you COULD NOT answer any calls
while you had data present.
now it disconnects the data and
makes it so you can answer calls
Thanks to Razorloves

In order to optimize battery usage, you can stop running applications that are not in use. Specifically, the following are ways you can save battery while using your device:
1. Stop running the GPS software if not in use. (Tap Start > Settings > System tab >Task Manager.)
2. Disconnect your data connection if not in use. (Tap Start > Programs > Comm Manager.)
3. Turn off your Bluetooth connection if not in use. (Tap Start > Programs > Comm Manager.)
4. Turn off your Wi-Fi connection if not in use. (Tap Start > Programs > Comm Manager.)
5. Change Power Save Mode from Best Performance to Best Battery in the Wireless LAN setting. (Tap Start > Settings > Connections tab > Wireless LAN > Power Mode tab.)
6. Please check the sync schedule for receiving and downloading incoming mails. For after work hours, it is recommended that you increase the time interval for receiving e-mails to save battery. (Tap Start> Programs > ActiveSync > Menu > Schedule to adjust the sync status in Peak time and Off-peak time.)
7. Set your device to auto adjust the backlight so that the light sensor will automatically adjust the brightness of the screen. (Tap Start > Settings > Backlight tab and then select Auto adjust backlight.)
8. In standby mode, WCDMA uses lesser power than GSM mode. On the other hand, in talk mode, GSM uses lesser power than WCDMA. You can tap Start > Settings > Phone > Band tab, and then set your network type to Auto.
9. Stop running the applications that are not in use. (Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Task Manager.)

Has anyone tried this reg tweak or settings above and seen a difference?
