Also, with 20091017 - not sure if it was the same with 20091014, but could have been - I noticed a more interesting location wrinkle. When Maps first starts, it gets an approximate location fix (within 800m - I guess it's off the cell tower). Then it automatically connects to GPS satellites (I get the blue connecting...searching for satellites...then it finds 8 satellites messages), and the location dot moves, becoming very precise (looks like the same accuracy I got with MightyRom and stock ROM). _But_, if I then drag the map somewhere else and then click the 'go to my location' button, it doesn't go to the very accurate, GPS-fixed location - it reverts to the approximate, cell tower location! Weird.

Anyway, the resets are a rather more pressing problem...20091014 didn't seem to do that, only the complete hang thing.

What's everyone else's experience?

edit: I should note I followed Proper Flashing Procedure - each time I hard reset, flash back to stock Telus ROM, hard reset, flash to new ROM, hard reset.
I haven't run Google Maps yet, but I have had zero freezing or reboot issues.

Grea ROM, hte only issue ive spotted is that when replying to SMS, it freezes but unfreezes 3 seconds later, it does type what was writen during the freeze point, but it will be perfect if that would be fixed.

10/17 Rom on Sprint Diamond - No major issues yet, location-based weather in TF3D hasn't pulled an update. Maps working, no resets, and no freezing.

Kinoma Play full works well
iGo 8 works well
Google Maps works well
Coreplayer 1.3.6 works well

Replaced included Opera Mobile with 9.7 beta v35432... that's working very well.
Replaced Marketplace with XDA_Dev Marketplace with Internal Storage saving... works well.

Is 10/17 ROM with Manila 2.5? If not, I still stay with 10/14 ROM.
Wait for new ROM with Manila 2.5

it is still Manila 2.1, ROM based on 23016.
NRG says he is working on 23071 but may not be for a little while.
Oct 17 version is with some bug fixes from oct 14 and 15 VGA ROMs.
NO VGA ROM with Manila2.5 from NRG yet (there are a couple he mentioned for WVGA)

Does anyone have a cab for the version of Opera 9.5 that is natively included in this ROM? I tried Opera 9.7 but the current build has waaaaaaay too many bugs in the bookmarks area for me to use it. Thanks!
