just lost my txt msg ringer after about 30 txt's.......
got busy and came back to the phone 20 minutes later and sent a reply and when i recieved a txt back the ringer was back

Anyone know if there is a spot in the Opera config, or another method, to completely disable Opera rotation? It seems to be a possible source of freezing on 9.7.

not sure, but I had a thought. Not very technical, but would it help to review Groove's enable opera rotation cab and see where the registry edits lie. its 9.5 but it might point you in the right direction. and yes I stayed at a holiday inn express

Hmm... good call, Riley.

Let's see... this cab just points to HKLM>Software>Opera>GSensor>IdleTime... maybe just changing it to zero will work. I will give it a try.

*edit* Actually, zero makes it not wait at all before rotating... so let's try a really big number.

*edit* Changing it to 999999 seems to effectively eliminate the rotation, or at least makes it poll slow enough that it takes a long time to rotate, which seems to work well enough. Thanks, Riley.

cool, I was thinking would it help to review the oem in Grooves kitchen for opera 15613 since he has opera rotation disabled by default?

Well i've given up on the rhodium keyboard and i'm going back to fingerkeyboard...I would really like this keyboard more if someone created a better landscape layout so the keys were more spread out. I am still getting horrible lag with all of the rhodium keyboard ports out there and trust me i've tried them all. I even get the lag with nothing selected in the input setting. Just plain weird.

Hey Calkulin, just wanted to say thanks once again for another great kitchen. Built a new rom with the 6.5 kitchen and everything is working great. Has anyone else had the USB to PC settings disappear from the connections screen? I get the notification pop-up when I plug my phone into the usb and can get it to connect to my computer as a disc drive, however activesynch will not work. (I suspect because I need to de-select the enhanced network option under USB to PC.

try a soft reset, i had that happen about 10 minutes ago.

Thanks I tried that but to no avail. The USB to PC settings just won't show up in settings. I may have to reflash.
