I had the same problem with sms this morning with calku's 4.9 kitchen.
+ The menus were not finger friendly like it should be in wm6.5 and the start menu was buggy and sometime not showing up (I was stuck on titanium screen or an app screen).

I build a rom without manilla.
Am I putting something I shouldn't in the kitchen?

For now I'm back to groove's new kitchen and it works perfectly.

btw I flash to stock before every flash now.

I can't do anything with SMS either ... rebuilt (21812) a few times to see if I could figure out why. I'm still confused. Arcsoft works, but not SMS. Gonna try 21806 and see if I get the same thing.

I just built and flashed a new rom from the latest kitchen and ran into the same sms problem. I was going to re-cook to make sure it wasn't something I did. However clicking the compose link in titanium under text messages just sends me to message selection. Then trying to start a new text from the text screen brings up nothing.

The SMS issue has been fixed already also, 21812 had a few more bugs than 21806 that I had to fix, so download the new kitchen when it's up
