That's a relief. I use my Mogul's broadband constantly while at work. Although I doubt I'd ever hit 5Gb, it's nice to know that it won't affect me for now.

It does seem strange that the rep I chatted with earlier this morning was evasive about the level of the cap and whether it would affect non-PAM mobile broadband. Maybe she was just ill-informed.

Re: Sprint 5GB internet cap

How does one track roaming data? Or are they only refering to international roaming which I was pretty sure wasn't covered in our plans anyhow.

yeah, i agree. It was a relief to read that. And although i pretty much use my mogul all day, i dont think i'd go over 5gb a month. dschoenike

Re: Sprint 5GB internet cap

looks like Sprint is going to be losing another 1,000,000 in 2008 like they did last yearin 2007...Sprint blows, I wish another carrier with 3g handsets had just as great priced rates and I switch in a heartbeat

No offense, but I don't get why people keep saying stuff like this. Ya, there are some things about Sprint that suck (certain customer service experiences come to mind), but there are things that suck about every carrier. Clearly every other carrier blows even more than Sprint, or you would have switched already.

How about giving them some credit for the things they do well:

-One of the best data networks in the country, both in terms of speed and coverage.

-Great prices.

-Newest CDMA handsets.

-And the list continues.

I'm not in love with Sprint, but all-in-all they are still a pretty good choice.

I guess it's all personal experience and opinion with that. I personally have never had a problem with sprint. My 6700 died and they gave me a mogul right on the spot. My internets crapped out, and i've called up their support number, problem solved (albeit 2hrs later) I like my plan and i like their phones. And i gotta say thanks to you, cause "sprint blows" made me laugh. Maybe i just have blinders on, and hate thinking about having to switch to another provider. dschoenike

Re: Sprint 5GB internet cap

I don't get one thing..with sprint trying to go WiMax and offer faster speeds. Why the limits?

one of these days we'll get 10gb/sec download speeds but be capped at 5

Re: Sprint 5GB internet cap

That really sucks. It seems as if we're in the age where more things are taken from us than are given.

You gotta admit though, that would be a pretty cool 1/2 second
