If you do a dmesg from ADB, you will be able to see the cmdline that is being passed and what settings are being applied. I never paid attention to autobuild since I build my own with an OC.

Also, [ACL], is hw3d still needed in cmdline? I thought it was just fully enabled by default now.

I haven't had a chance to test this yet, but I can tell you that it should pause your music when you unplug the headphones. This is the default way WinMo and other Android phones do it. I think this is default so that music doesn't start blaring everywhere if you pull the headphones out on a plane or when you pull the aux out in the car.
shit.. ur rite about the hw3d. I dont even think i accept that on the code anymore.. lol. So consider that gone. for the next build.

Yeah, the other folk confirmed that it should pause. So im leaving it alone. Just fine tuning the sound routing a little more but that should be it.

Also i did put sleep 1.. This is what its using now.

"gsensor_axis=2,1,3 msmvkeyb_toggle=off hw3d.force=1 panic=0 pm.sleep_mode=1"

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 01-07: Panel power on/off fixes

Well crap... [ACL], what was your USB doing when it wasn't working? I've tried 5 computers with 3 different USB cables on all ports, and I cannot get the computers to recognize my phone. The phone shows charging, but the USB options never come up.

So far, I've tried flashing back to VZW MR1 stock ROM from the sdcard, flashing back into NAND, and plenty of Task 29's. The phone isn't bricked, but the battery drains extremely fast, and I can't do ADB or Haretconsole anymore.

Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: Now that I think about it, the Task 29 NBH doesn't really do anything right? It's the EXE that sends the command after the flash is finished? So I guess I can't actually Task 29 it unless I JTAG which I'm not sure how to do.

Well i had a different issue. I couldnt boot anymore. Kernel wouldnt load at all so it wasnt anything specific to usb. Then it turns out my cable wasnt making a good connections o i had to bend it a bit to finally recognise. I remember doing a bunch of tasks via command-line. But i had to do em in wince via serial when the phone was in boot-loader mode. Is this due to the last headset patch you think ?

Make sure your conf file has this in it.

echo "ro.sf.lcd_density=240" >> /etc/default.prop

It sould be in the custom command section.
Will try this..

Are you in bootloader mode when you try to plug into computer? That is my only guess. I always flash my phone to a modded ROM after its had android on there. I always keep a RHODIMG.nhb on my SD just in case. I don't know how much more help I can be of though. D=

Anyways, I am sorry for my leave of absence, for I was on TDY and am now back home. Was just accepted into the US Air Force Academy, so I'm pretty stoked. =P

I didn't get a chance to try the last headset patch. There are three things that I can think of that might have ruined the USB port.

The first is charging dock I use for my phone. I modified an old dock to work, but it's a bit flimsy and could have tweaked something. I doubt this caused it because I've been using it for over a year with no issues.

The second is Android running completely out of battery a few times on NAND. Once you plug in after completely dead, it does that boot loop thing, and I'm wondering if something got messed up there. It's also possible that USB charging for two full days may have done something since I accidentally left my phone at home on the charger one day.

The last possibility is when I was doing haretconsole stuff. I was playing with resume traces for the 3.5mm headset and totally locked up the phone. I guess I could have done some damage with that as well, but I really don't remember if USB worked after that or not.

I almost always flash from the sdcard, and I have a modded ROM on the card along with the stock ROM. The only time I flash from USB is when I want to Task 29, and the rest of the time, I just rename the files on the sdcard. Sadly, I've tried everything I know how to do, and no dice.

Hmm.. Only other options I can think of would be to try doing a hard reset with the button combinations see what that does for you or I was reading about using MTTY to recover from a brick. I'd look into that.
