i've already made some patches in the kernel, for example, kernel security is patched out to increase performance. Memory allocation is a whole other beast, however.

i've adjusted slot 0 and slot 1 sizes to reduce "leak over".

some bad news:
my charger/usb port broke so i can no longer flash roms onto my device... or charge it
currently i am trying to find a microsd reader so i can ...
actually as i type this i realize i can use nueupdate to flash back to stock.

anyway, ... im going to go to the sprint store 8am and try to get a replacement device

hopefully i'll still be able to get stuff out tommorow.

on a side note, that's what I love about this phone. There are so many ways of doing everything. If your usb is broken, you can flash via the sd card. If you don't have an adapter, activesync. If no activesync (don't know why), ftp/download it. gotta love it!

okay, back on track...

heh, yeah, theres a new "Sprint Stock" repository if anyone else ever needs it =)

I see mention of "5061" ou t there ...Got up early to check since the rumor was that Friday was the day. Could it be true? If 5061 is out there where can I get my paws on it? Will it show up in the kitchen updater?

ah yes, friday is supposed to be the day, but typically, by friday, i mean after midnight friday, heh.

also, i cant work on 5061 until my phone is fixed, which will hopefully happen soon....
