I'm not sure if anything was changed, but I believe my ICS would not redial if was connected with the 2.17.

Does anyone know if this can be changed where ISC can be connected and the phone can also access the net at the same time? It doesn't seem to work with both at the same time. If data is accessed within wm6, it will close the ISC connection.

It should be fine though as explained in this forum below.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=9418

My phone did reset one time at 11%, but then continued. The exe file that I downloaded would not self extract, giving a 16 bit ms dos error. I just opened with winace and installed through there.

Rev. A is working great, I am getting close to 200kbps upload and 100kbps download. This speed was tested on labtop through www.speakeasy.net/speedtest. I will soon test the gps functionability. My msl and msid was not deleted. I used ##686225# to get my information.
I deleted the file from the registry, restarted the phone, and it returned. I tried deleting it and not restarting, and it still said "Phone as Modem" when trying to use WMWIFIROUTER.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
I am having the same issue unless I do a hard reset. Then the GPS works great. I have narrowed it down to something in the registry when I do a restore. I'm trying to find what is causing the gps not to come up. Getting close.....

I uploaded it yesterday and I'm having problems with the GPS not working, it is generally slower, and it takes like 40 seconds to find a signal. I tried switching back to the OEM software but it won't allow me to go back. As soon as the update starts BAM it restarts. HELP!!!!

A battery should last longer than 9-5, IMO. You should be able to get through an entire day without fearing that you will need to recharge by dinner time.

My BlackBerry 8830, with a constant EVDO connection and a smaller battery, would last MUCH longer than the stock Mogul battery. I realize the devices are different, but the BB would be at about 60% by bed time for me. I use my Mogul in the same way I used my BB and I am dead by 7pm if I don't throw the phone on the charger during the day.

That is the very definition of lousy battery life, IMO.

I know there are a lot of posts but all of the problems your havening have been discussed here already.DO INSTALL this rom if you want.Just do your research first.Make some notes while your reading.
I agree. I installed the ROM last night and the GPS now works (took about 20 minutes the first time, now it's really quick, and seems accurate!). My bluetooth now works - I had problems with it constantly disconnecting with my h700, no problems since I updated the ROM.

For the GPS, I have tried, Google Maps, Live Search, Sprint Navigation, TomTom 6, iNav, and RichesseGPS (COM4) - All work great!

Unfortunately, TeleNav does not work because the software is set to look for a Bluetooth GPS receiver, and I have not figured out a way to tell it different. I want to use TeleNav because I already have a paid for account there, Sprint Navigation IS the same thing, but it asks me to enter a credit card (wonder why it can't just be billed to my Sprint account...?)

Anyone have any ideas on the TeleNav for the Mogul and how we can set it just to use COM4 rather than search for a Bluetooth GPS reciever? reg changes...?

OK These are the settings I had have in my phone for GPS to work.. I'm not sure if all these were required but this is what I did.

I rebooted my main pc prior to flashing to the new ROM with GPS to clear out any cobwebs that may have caused the process to fail.

Connected my Phone/PDA via activesync, and started the ROM update. I had an original sprint ROM so I didnt need to unlock my phone.

While flashing the phone I was at 11% and then it kinda paused rebooted, it did this a few times then continued on past 11%. Have patience dont touch anything dont move your mouse, dont surf the net while this is going on.

Once the phone went through its customizations all was well, I did the IOTA update and got all my settings for internet.

GPS didnt work right away. I write code for GPS apps for the company I work for, and there seems to be an association process that needs to go on at the satellit before the satellite will send GPS data. So be patient, it took my almost 40 minutes before the process started, I had a cup of coffee outside, "Largo FL" although it is a bit chilly here not too bad. I'm from chicago so I know COLD.
also have your live search open, have the option "Center On GPS" checked in the menu when viewing a map. The icon will turn from the gray/yellow to orangish red. At least it did for me, also it will start changing direction. It does work in the house, but not as good as outside.

Set your External GPS setting in the system control panel on your phone in the software port settings to COM4, and leave the other as "Let windows Automatically Manage" this will keep your Hardware COM port to "None".

Now set your map application to use COM4. Well at least for livesearch I cant say for others as I dont use them. I've always good data transmission so I cant tell on the Rev. A stuff.

Now if someone can tell me how to get my activesync working again, that would be great. It wont complete the "retrieving settings" to go into guest mode.

Did you have to delete that entry to get it to work the first time?
If I remember right, I tried it right after installing the ROM, and it worked.

I did delete that from the registry and then it connected. Thank you!!

Ok... looks like alot of ppl are having issues. Do this. Hard reset the phone and install. That worked great for me. Everything works. Gps is kinda funny.... like Live maps wont find sats but google will instantly and then live maps finds them. Visa versa too. But once the sats are locked in.. this thing is killer!! All we need now is the video drivers.................. common.. cross your fingers! Then this puppy will be smooth like the ihone when scrolling thru pages online and off line. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:headbang :
