No DK28 was the froyo leak we were running cooked roms on since early december. DI18 was the last eclair release, and there was DI07 before that. But there was one before that as well, can't remember what the build # was though.

No, DK28 was the last publicly released beta rom of Froyo, DI18 is the last 2.1 stock rom

First of all - I just wanted to thank every one of you for being patient with me and answering my questions. This may sound hard to believe... but I am trying to search first. (maybe I'm not utilizing the right keywords...)

My phone's behavior is really odd. Now when calling out... I have to toggle the speakerphone, despite the fact that I am using a BT headset

Is it normal for my phone to "hang" 30 seconds... before it starts calling out?

And is the toggling speakerphone issue... present in Sprint's stock 2.1 ROM (ie DI18 )?

Well dont feel bad my single sucks texts come late and they get them late there are times ill get a whole bunch at once and before wasn't there now is and makin me sound stupid bc I didn't answer my chick bc it was there at first and then it was so it makes m look like a lier on top data is crap even with full bars. I wonder if that has to do with like evo with that http addy and port having to be reset who knows but its nice to have 2.2 but I feel like I made a bad choice to leave evo for epic sometimes

i cant get GMAIL to install for the life of me on this latest BYO Rom...i installed google apps the market..stock email..and still no gmail?

you dont install gmail its there, is it setup to "sync" under settings? (well its there on my rom)

I don't think gmail is in the base rom. Pretty sure you either need to add it before you flash, or flash the zip in the midnight rom extras folder.

odd, before i added anything it was there in programs. i didnt use any backup either nor did i flash "standard" before i saw it.

It's in the beta, but I don't see it in the final.
