Re: [ROM] midNIGHT ROM v4.2 (BYOR Edition) 3/9/2011
First of all - I just wanted to thank every one of you for being patient with me and answering my questions. This may sound hard to believe... but I am trying to search first. (maybe I'm not utilizing the right keywords...)
My phone's behavior is really odd. Now when calling out... I have to toggle the speakerphone, despite the fact that I am using a BT headset ![]() And is the toggling speakerphone issue... present in Sprint's stock 2.1 ROM (ie DI18 )?

Difficult, indeed - Anon.
I may try flashing back to stock 2.1 / DI18 Has anyone had any experiences with dialing out - and others not being able to hear with DI18? Always toggling the speakerphone is such a hassle whenever I want to talk on my phone... What still doesn't make sense - is that it's considered a software bug. If that is the case, why are only some phones affected? I would assume its hardware, and any update would not be able to fix it? |

Re: [ROM] midNIGHT ROM v4.2 (BYOR Edition) 3/9/2011
I don't think its that the actual process is hard. It is easy once you get it. I never did anything more than download an app before I moved to midNIGHT ROM 3.2. That was easy enough, so I flashed 3.3 when it became available. What I find difficult is the terms (What is Odin?) and tracking the location of files (Where do I find the stock EB13 after I install the new version of CW?). The video that Rob did on the bottom of his Android Development page really helped me a lot. So as an idiot when come to this stuff, it is doable and the results are worth it when Samsung, Sprint, and Google release half baked products. The help you get from the folks on this forum is awesome.
