Re: [ROM] midNIGHT ROM v4.0 (BYOR Edition) 2/24/2011

Been trolling around the threads a bit - to learn that DRM & MediaHub are huge battery drainers. Most of the posts suggests to download an app to disable and freeze them.

Is this the only solution? Is there a "Registry Editor" equivalent in Android to change settings?

Update:

midNIGHT ROM v4.2 is officially in closed beta. Sorry the group is full for now. I wanted to let everyone know what was going on. v4.2 will contain the malware patch, no CIQ fix as well as various other tweaks and updates.

As always please check the blog frequently for updates and follow me on twitter and facebook.

Thanks again for your patience and support....

Also if you have any "Thanks" burning a hole in your pocket please visit k0nane's and bonsaithreads over spend your "Thanks" on them. They truly deserve it.

Everything else that has been done related to removing DRM has caused side effects that are just unacceptable. I don't have the media hub installed, so that can be removed.

We don't have a registry or equivalent like WinMo. So no.

I agree that removing DRM will create problems, but freezing it with Titanium Backup hasn't created any issues for me.

Is there a known issue - where a call is placed... but you can't hear each other?

Anyway of enabling a time stamp on the camera?

It happens sometimes, but I think its a Sprint network issue, not the phone. I just hang up and call back.

Re: [ROM] midNIGHT ROM v4.2 (BYOR Edition) 3/9/2011

Just tried receiving 2 incoming calls... both times - the other user could not hear me.

I called back - and halfway through the call... the other user could not hear me.

Seems odd that this would be a Sprint issue. If so, why no complains elsewhere?
