I used Mail2Web before but I dumped it. Maybe cos I used the free plan. I don't have issues with Windows Mobile Device Center so I use it. I use MobiPush for exchange (Gmail account). BTW this is kinda hijacking this thread.

"i forgot to get insurance"? That's crap. When you sign up, they push it so hard there's no way you "forgot". You didn't want to spend the money when it was offered and then realized you were f'ed when the phone crapped out. What other product in the world offers that kind of policy? [Spend $6/month and we warranty your electronic device for as long as you pay after the factory warranty runs out. Even the electronics stores will only go for a year or two after factory warrany expires.] You just explained how you abused the system and cost those of us who legitimately pay for the insurance all this time more money every year.
I hope you don't have the same problem with health/life insurance. Telling the hospital/mortuary that you forgot and signing up before you get there will cause some major issues.

Everyone complaining about not being able to get legitimate upgrade/exchanges... look at posts like this.
Everyone complaining about the cost of TEP going up over the last few years, if you were wondering why... look at posts like this.
seriously man, fuk off. the part about ppcgeeks was a joke.

btw, i did tell my rep i wanted insurance and they didnt put it on there and i didnt realize it. and i am not lying pencil dik. sheesh...

Im just trying to help someone out. and nothing i have said is illegal, micky mouse.

i forgot, not that its a big deal or anything but u have been thanked 16 times and u have 750 post. wtf are u posting, u waste peeps time.

Don't sweat it tech. This guy acts like he's so ethical. And most of his posts are complaints about WM6/6.1 ROMs not working for him. Like he can't change tsk themes and dialers freezing on him, he's a n00b. Although he claims he's not. I just don't understand why people can't take a joke. Later.

Re: 6700 ---> 6800 via insurance swap?

How old are you guys? You want to chest-bump each other and give high-fives for encouraging each other to be unethical?
Don't you think that name-calling and typing curses with bad spelling to avoid filters is kind of immature?

If you really didn't notice that you never had insurance, then it's more a reflection of your ability to pay attention to your bills than just being cheap. You should make up your mind about which lie you're going to tell. Did you forget or did you tell them you wanted it and they didn't put it on your account. Your protests will be much more believable if you stick to one of them.
If you were joking about something like extortion, sorry, I missed any of the clues you left about that. (You didn't leave any. Moreover, you went through a littany of ways to deceive and bully someone into giving the insurance when it wasn't warranted. Me think thou doth protest too much.)
Of course nothing you said was illegal- you can say anything you want. Your actions were at the very least, immoral and probably cause for canceling your contract and possibly civil action. And if you think that what you did (or told someone else do) wasn't illegal- by making a claim on a policy that you got the way you did- then see what happens when you call CS and explain honestly what happened. See if it's OK to have "your buddy" put insurance on your phone after 8 months. I'll bet they have a different view of it. I'll bet "your buddy" doesn't appreciate it either.

As for me being a n00b because I ask questions and some of the experimental things I try don't work- well, if that's how you qualify people, then fine. Call me what you want- I've never claimed to be any sort of expert. Your opinions don't really count for much in my book. My device is working now because I contribute when I can and ask questions from the many knowledgeable people on this forum. If you think you are better than me for some other reason... I still don't care.

Re: 6700 ---> 6800 via insurance swap?

Well I can tell you this, the first 67 I had was ok but the KB was flakey. The second that replaced it had the vibe motor on it get flakey. The third one I had that replaced it also had the vibe motor get flakey. Oh I called and called VZW on it and even went as far as talking with thier presidential office several times with no resolution as they would not send me a different device unless I re-committed to another 2 yrs. I finally got so tired of it all that I had it replaced a 4th time with a new 67 and it also had vibe issues and finally I got my hands on a 68. Did I turn in any of those phones? No I did not and why should I? I Paid for each one of them plus the cost of the monthly insurance and because I paid for them thet are mine. Each one was 50 bux. What sense does it make to pay 50 bux for a phone as a rental fee until the it messes up and I have to pay another 50 for another phone and turn back in my last phone so they can 'refurb' it and resell it? That to me is extortion my friend. Some people in that line of work call is business but on my end, thats not what i call it.

What you do is certainly defensible and I would say it's ethical. Keeping a legitimately defective phone when they send you a replacement for $50 while keeping insurance intact the entire time seems reasonable to me.

Re: 6700 ---> 6800 via insurance swap?

Ah, but I will break a phone to get a new one. I mean look at it from two different sides. There is the business side and the consumer side. The business side is always about making money and dont really care who they step on. Thats harsh but the full truth of it. Then you have the consumer side. Normally, yes we have a choice of what carrier to use but like my dad says all the time when it comes down to elections, just pick the one thats looks the less evil. NOTE: He didnt say that one that WASNT evil.

NO ONE had ANY phone that was MADE or even ASSEMBLED here in the US. Everything is out sourced and imported. Look at how much money ATT&T made with thier 1st Gen iPhone. It was 400-500 WITH a contract and people bought them out. Now they have a slightly better model and half the price and still making a killing.

Re: 6700 ---> 6800 via insurance swap?

If you have paid for insurance and pay your $50 deductible after breaking your own phone, that's up to you. I won't say I've never done it.
The issue I have is with people who bully their way into getting a service that they don't deserve because they didn't pay for it. What makes it worse (for me) is that they act like they deserve it somehow. And if they encourage enough people to act as they do, eventually the option will disappear, as the financial model only works if people pay into the insurance plan.

I'm sure that I've paid way more than the cost of whatever phones I've replaced in all the time I've been with Sprint. But I'd rather pay the small insurance cost monthly than the high out-of-pocket full retail price when something happens.

You're right, there are two different sides with two different objectives- I'm sure Sprint/Asurion makes money on people like me. But that doesn't give people like the guy who flamed me the right to use the service contrary to the rules. If everyone did that, Asurion wouldn't be able to stay in business. And worse, we'd be paying a lot more for replacement phones.
His argument sounds like a defense of why it's OK to shoplift from stores.
