Re: 6700 ---> 6800 via insurance swap?
How old are you guys? You want to chest-bump each other and give high-fives for encouraging each other to be unethical?
Don't you think that name-calling and typing curses with bad spelling to avoid filters is kind of immature?
If you really didn't notice that you never had insurance, then it's more a reflection of your ability to pay attention to your bills than just being cheap. You should make up your mind about which lie you're going to tell. Did you forget or did you tell them you wanted it and they didn't put it on your account. Your protests will be much more believable if you stick to one of them.
If you were joking about something like extortion, sorry, I missed any of the clues you left about that. (You didn't leave any. Moreover, you went through a littany of ways to deceive and bully someone into giving the insurance when it wasn't warranted. Me think thou doth protest too much.)
Of course nothing you said was illegal- you can say anything you want. Your actions were at the very least, immoral and probably cause for canceling your contract and possibly civil action. And if you think that what you did (or told someone else do) wasn't illegal- by making a claim on a policy that you got the way you did- then see what happens when you call CS and explain honestly what happened. See if it's OK to have "your buddy" put insurance on your phone after 8 months. I'll bet they have a different view of it. I'll bet "your buddy" doesn't appreciate it either.
As for me being a n00b because I ask questions and some of the experimental things I try don't work- well, if that's how you qualify people, then fine. Call me what you want- I've never claimed to be any sort of expert. Your opinions don't really count for much in my book. My device is working now because I contribute when I can and ask questions from the many knowledgeable people on this forum. If you think you are better than me for some other reason... I still don't care.
