I had a guy in my store yesterday who said that after your third claim, you can't have insurance on your handset anymore. That sucks.

My first time using my insurance since like 2004 was yesterday and I am getting a newly fitted UT Starcom 6950, that is what the web and the confirmation email said. I have gotten a tracking number as well. I submitted the claim yesterday at about 11 A.M and at 3 P.M. I received a tracking number. Expected delivery is Monday and it was only fifty bucks to get my new diamond. Now I have all three a touch, touch pro, and a diamond. Fricking sweet man.

You can never use your touch as a phone or web device anymore, though.

well my touch took a dive in the toilet a month ago and has been acting up. I just did a claim with asurion and they are sending me the pro. I have few question though. how thick is this pro? they told me its not much thicker than the diamond. diamond being .6 and pro .71. not much of a difference. BUT I was reading reviews and people were complaining of the thickness. upon further investigation learned there is a touch pro 1 and touch pro 2 with the latter being the thinnest. IS THIS TRUE? which one are you guys receiving? I would hope the thinner one! can anyone confirm this or post pics? I hope I'm not being a total idiot lol. thanks in advance!

How freakin' weird, I just ran over & crushed the screen on my Touch with the rocking chair I'm sitting in right now. I was wondering what the hell was keeping me from rolling back.. When I looked at it half the screen was warped.

Touch Pro 2 has not been released yet. It is up for pre-order in Europe with a launch date of May 5th.

Ur best bet with them is being honest. They dealt with everything you could think of, but today the deductibles go up on all the smart phones to 100 bucks

Yeah I know it sucks not having my touch anymore. I was using it as a backup phone to my touch pro which i thought that I had lost only to find out that it was hiding under my bed. My beloved touch came as a great deal as I bought two of them off of ebay when I got them. It was a package deal. A pretty sweet one at that. Now I will have a nice collection of HTC hardware. I am thinking of putting the touch on my Metro account and having the option of switching between the TP and the diamond on sprint.
