Asurion now replacing the Touch for the Diamond

I'm pretty sure i accidentally made a claim and am receiving a Diamond in the near future. 50 bucks for an upgrade? i guess i'll take it.

i just filed a claim at the sprint advanced exchange and am getting a new vogue...but im cool with that ill hold onto it until the tp2/diamond2 is released ;

Really? Thats really strange. I started a claim on the 15th and was told i'm getting a diamond and completed a claim yesterday and am still getting the diamond. Maybe i'm just lucky.

Just be careful on how many times you replace it. the third replacement with asurion will have you filling out paperwork before they send you a phone.

I had a guy in my store yesterday who said that after your third claim, you can't have insurance on your handset anymore. That sucks.

Just my two cents in here, just had my Touch's touch screen go out couple days ago, instead of going thru web or customer service to do claim I went to the actual sprint store. They still have original Touch in their warehouse for shipment as replacement if you still want the original Touch instead of the new Diamond or TP.

My first time using my insurance since like 2004 was yesterday and I am getting a newly fitted UT Starcom 6950, that is what the web and the confirmation email said. I have gotten a tracking number as well. I submitted the claim yesterday at about 11 A.M and at 3 P.M. I received a tracking number. Expected delivery is Monday and it was only fifty bucks to get my new diamond. Now I have all three a touch, touch pro, and a diamond. Fricking sweet man.

You can never use your touch as a phone or web device anymore, though. poor touch.

advance exchange is thru Sprint, not the same as going thru asurion

I was told this by assurion customer service. I didn't talk to sprint through this entire ordeal.
