His manager walked over and approved it... They pulled out 8 boxes or so, and sat them down on the table, fully prepared to open them all to find me one... By the grace of God, the first box was good... and I was set...
Just saying... 99% of people don't know/care about this problem, but if you bring it to their attention, chances are, as long as they view you as valuable, they will try and fix the problem...
oh, and I can safely say that the "dark spots" on these screens are directly related to whether or not you have a good screen... Mine has remained vibrant, and spot-free... while my other screens would get spots in a matter of weeks...

Do you have to go to a service center for this? I tried taking my phone back and had to go to the San Fran service center. They were ****s about the whole thing there (actually told me that a touch screen should make waves when you press on it. The dude touched his LCD monitor on his computer to 'show me'. I was like, dude, your LCD isn't a touch screen. You aren't supposed to touch it! Ugh). Anyway, they didn't have the touch there. They had to order it for me and the one I got was WORSE than the one I had. Do you guys just go into the store? I don't want to go back to that service center. Besides having TERRIBLE viewing angles (I have about a 5 percent viewing angle vertically), there's a dot in the center of the screen. Thought it was a dead pixel until I put it under a microscope. Its actually like some sort of gunk (not dust).
