My ESN swap went off without a hitch late last night when I called Sprint. I ended up talking to the guy who walked me through programming the phone for a little bit after we finished the programming and he never mentioned any red flags regarding my unit.

So far, so good!

I don't quite see what a sprintusers thread from 10 months ago has to do with anything. And harry44512 has better than a 95% positive, with shipping seeming to be the problem there, too. I'm not saying this whole deal isn't shady! But I do think we'll get our phones and be able to activate them. - sheureka

He's been much more responsive since the first time he mailed me. Took him 4 days to first respond but I have gotten very quick responses since then.

Sticking with the same thing that his shipper had a death in the family. Phone should be sent out already, or today at the very latest as the last batch of his recently sold ones went today. So, we'll see. Since once again it appears people are getting a bunch of their phones I'll give him the benifit of the doubt till middle of next week

from his questions he clearly did not know if the ESN would be clear and wanted to see what sprint users thought before he tried it and got caught! just a theory. "A friend gave it to me"? C'mon, you should know that it is clear than! better than 95% but the the most recent comments were all bad and phone releated, no ships and no responds plus a paypal ressolved auction. I am guessing you will get your phones and they will be clear but you can tell they are coming from a shady source, my guess, but I'm ok with just shady

I'm strongly considering buying one of these if I can't get one through Sprint at a discounted price...if he ever lists more, that is.

Did the price just went up 100$ to 350$ ?
Maybe he just had it priced wrong.
