You obviously have never been a merchant of any kind. And you are spreading mis-information in this thread:
"Disputes can only be filed within 45 days of a transaction and for the purposes of reporting problems with a buyer, seller or an unauthorized transaction." As a merchant, you are part of the problem with engaging in retail commerce. One small hiccup and the whole world is crashing down. I've had relatives die, and depending on who it is it can be a devastating and paralyzing ordeal to go through. If we all wanted our phones shipped overnight in our hands, we would have bought them directly from Sprint for Retail. People with attitudes like yours create higher chargeback percentages, which in turns mean higher costs to the credit card merchant and then the seller, then that means higher prices for the buyer. Just chill. You don't have a dog in this fight. |

I just sent him an email as well. I'm not really worried about it. There are a few things that seem fishy, but there are also things that make it seem legit. I will not let it go over the 45 day limit for a claim (I stand corrected, I originally thought it was 30) though. I will be glad to let him know that once he responds to my email. I understand sh** happens. That is the only reason I am being so patient.

I bought a phone from him but decided not to pay him right away since he was not going to ship until this week anyway, so I waited. I finally decided to pay him on Friday, and I got a message from paypal saying that "this user cannot accept payments at this time".
I emailed him and he responded saying that I could either mail him a money order or wait for paypal and that he would have that straightened out soon. I'm guessing that paypal put a hold on his account pending him providing tracking #'s and them being delivered. Either way, I have an excuse to wait on payment and if you guys get your phones, then I guess his paypal hold will be lifted and I'll feel confident in getting my phone. Good luck. |

I just did my daily check of eBay, and our friend has several new positive feedback ratings - so it looks like he's started shipping again. - sheureka

So, guess what showed up on my doorstep this morning?
 The package came directly from Sprint, and it appears that he has someone on the inside of Sprint sending out EPP replacement units to his ebay winners. So, whether this is a refurb unit or not, I'm not sure. It would assume that they don't have any refurb units of the Touch yet to send out, but I'd love to find out a way to see if this is a refurb. There are no indications to say that it is a refurb. The packing slip shows that mine shipped on 11/28, which was 5 business days (within his allotted time on his ebay description). |

I'm sorry, I mean Equipment Protection Program. The package included a USPS return kit and a slip from asurion with info on how to return a defective device.

Quick question. Did you purchase on the 27th? And if so, before or after 3:00? I'm really curious if I'll be finding mine when I head to my house today after work.
