Yeah the guy appears to be a fake, I clicked on one of his links on his myspace and got my account on myspace hijacked. I didn't recognize the phishing filter from microsoft, they should have a big message popping up rather than the small one in the corner.., I'm glad it was only a myspace page not a credit card.....

I sent him this message this morning -

Just got a response to all my messages to him. Appears his contact who gets the phones had a death in the family (So he says) which is why things were hectic and taking a while. He said it should be in the mail, he'll get me the tracking as soon as he gets it, and it should be here next week.

That's one of the most classic scamming (or delaying) answers out there. Watch out guys!

I had a guy at work want a Touch so I emailed him asking if he had any more. Got a response the next day saying not right now but he should be posting more soon.

My guess is he's just a flake and behind on shipping or getting his supply. If he was really just stealing everyone's money he would have told me he had more and been more than willing to accept my money.

Hopefully you guys all start getting your phones soon.

Well on the day I went in search of anything about the seller and found his myspace page (see post # 42) I got nervous and got a sign of caution. So I emailed him and asked if he was going to have any more and he eventually emailed me back saying yes. But since I did not see any new items from him uploaded to ebay, I got impatient and went with another ebay seller. True it cost me a bit more, but I couldn't wait. After reading the recent postings in this thread I am so glad I did.

Now if it is found out that this guy is legit and just slow then I apologize both to him and the members here for posting his myspace page and causing panic/fear. But if he is found to be a fraud, then I am so glad I posted the page and hopefully averted any more members for falling for the scam.

yea i paid 350 total for mine...not as cheap as the thread suggests but still 150 under the retail price with no contract
