Sprint Touch, for $225, arrived today brand new. Beautiful item. Took a while, but if the circumstances he had were true, then it was right on time in regards to when he did get back in touch with me and let me know of shipping. AND...I hate to admit it...technically it was within the time frame stated in the auction (3-10 buisness days).

Came home from work today to find my Touch sitting on the front porch. I love this little thing. Now time to disable a few of those things that cause the wake up issue, apply a few hacks and install some software. Then to activate. WooHoo!

Hey, people that got it from this guy...what was your memory card size that your received.
If you all have the 512 like you're meant to I think I got a device that Sprint flubbed up on. My card is only 128. |

Thank you Klurf, yes we get it. You think their illegal, you don't like it, you are going to soap box on that non stop. Thank you for not providing anything useful to my post besides continuing to trattle on about the same thing.
I wasn't planning on contacting Sprint. I want to know if other people that LEGALLY BOUGHT FROM THIS GUY (as whether its "fishy" or not to you there's nothing in these transactions as "illegal" as we are under the premise these are legal phones, and they are activated as legal phones, and he in no way has a need or a duty to tell us every detail of his selling) if the cards they recieved for 512. If they were, then mine was likely an anomoly and I'll contact him and see if it can be set right. If its not an anomoly, then that leads to other things. Let me get this straight, you get a working good ESN phone (regardless if its legal or not) off of ebay for a substantial enough discount in price and you are going to contact the seller over not getting a $10 512MB card because you got a 128MB one.
All I can say is wow, things that make you go hmmmm. Seriously, I can see if the difference was a 1Gb or greater card and you got a 128 one, but if you are like most on here, the 512 card (if you would have received it) will in no time be used up and you will have to eventually get a much bigger card. Between 128 and 512 is not much of a jump to justify going back and forth in emails and waiting times for the item to arrive. i would just count your blessing that you actually got the phone and go get yourself a much bigger 4-6 GB card. I should count my blessing I recieved my phone from the website I've got my past 3 windows mobile devices off at a good price and good service? Wow, lucky me.
I'm not contacting the guy bitching. Mostly just saying "Hey, just to let you know...anything you can do? If not, no problem". I'm not one to carry around ALL of my music, or all of my videos, on one card. I've never really gone much larger than a 1GB card before...and usually just had 512's. I've never really been spoiled by the bigger memory cards because I had got used to things when 512 was the big boy. So a 512 generally does do me well enough for my media needs. If it happens he has a 512 and can send it out, great. Its not like the phones not usable during the time. If he doesn't, no problem...it at least lets me see how he reacts, how he responds, and to see a bit more clearly if the non-communication early on was an indication of how the seller is or if it was really a hectic time/situation. I can understand your over reaction if I as like "OMGZ! He gave me a 128 not a 512! I'm calling paypal!!!!" |

The shipper guy (or whatever . . . ) must have gotten back from the funeral. Mine came today too - and even though I originally got a Mogul I had emailed him and asked him to switch it to the Touch and he said he'd try. Anyway, opened the box and it was a Touch. I had never even seen one before (90 miles to the closest Sprint store) and I'm blown away by how small it is. And the packaging is gorgeous! - sheureka
PS - I go tthe 512 card.
