Well I've had my Touch a week now & LUV it! So glad I decided to go w/ the Touch, I don't miss my apache at all.

I'm surprised how well the battery is holding up. I had a 2800 ext battery on my apache, and in comparison, I have more juice at the end of the day than w/ my apache.

The ringer is definitely lower, I'm using the samer ringer "old phone" that I had to copy to the Touch, and I can tell it's not nearly as loud.

I dont seem to get as good as reception. I have poor signal @ home, and many times the antenna icon just disappears, lol. The data arrows will light up but it shows no signal strength. I hard reset to see if it made any difference, but still the same.

Based on everything I've read, there has been no new roms, radios or PRL's released, is that correct? And all kitchens are based on the stock rom?

ROM: 1.12.651.1
RADIO: 2.13
PRL: 60610

Does anybody else ever get the error message "cannot execute tmail.exe"? I have been getting that one lately and don't really know what it means. I know tmail.exe is the messaging app, but I can still get to my e-mail and messages even when this pops up, so it hasn't disabled anything, but it is really annoying. Any ideas?

Touch always returns to Home screen when turned on

My Touch always returns to the Home screen whenever it is turned on. Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone know what I can do to turn this "feature" off? I unchecked the "Today timeout" in Settings so I know that's not the cause. I really hope someone can help as this is driving me nuts.

Define turned on. From scratch or everytime you just turn the screen off?

If you turn off the lock/password function in the personal menu it will no longer default to home screen.

Thanks for the quick reply - I thought it must be something like that. I cannot turn off the lock function as it is a corporate policy. Yeah - I know I can get around it but I want to keep my job
