Sprint HTC Touch - Bugs, complaints, etc.

Mine did this a few times but it stopped doing it again so I can't help you, sorry.

I can tell you though that the liklihood of mine doing it again is quite probable since I'm running the same applications I was when it happened originally. I just got used to soft-resetting it.

yeah mine did that and i uninstalled program after program and it was still lagging so i hard reseted reinstalled all programs and performed a back just in case lol

sometimes when my touch is in sleep mode people will call me and i will not get the call at all but when i turn my touch on it immediately starts to ring and goes to miss call.

anyone have this problem? i swear i thought going to touch was going to be less pains then when i had my mogul.

I currently have vc 1.6; mapopolis; opera; lvm clock and bat, cube config, usbmodem, touchpal and total commander.

only registry changes were to make VC louder, sensitive touchflo, and sms notifier turn off.

I'm having a problem where I'll be talking on my touch and all of a sudden it will go into airplane mode and disconnect my call. This has happened to me several times despite numerous resets. Just wondewring if anyone else has the same problem.

Just wanted to update my situation. I recently got the 4GB SanDisk MicroSDHC card and it seems I'm having the issue with the files becoming garbled even more often. I haven't lost any of my files yet (knocking on wood) and a soft-reset brings the folder back to normal. I also recently installed S2U2 (version 0.95 I think) and set it up to blank the screen only as numerous people have posted as a fix and it DOES NOT fix it for me. I still have the same problem! When is a ROM update coming?!?!

All of my previous pocket pc's have had it's chance on my car stereo through a fm transmitter I put the Touch through my car stereo......Wow! high quality sound kicks all pocket pc's ass!!!!........ but.......... when you turn the volume up to %100 and you play a song with a lot of bass it activates auto redail and makes a phone call so I took it to a sprint store they didn't know how to disable the voice dail or whatever cause the phone to dail out while playing music I never figured it out I just turn it down to %85 that sucks........I want my bass man!!!!!

I upgraded my vision package with sprint and they sent me a text to go to a sprint store to enable my GPS the sprint store is full teenaged fools that don't know nothing about nothing they told me that the Mogul and the Touch cannot use the GPS function I told them that sprint is planning to upgrade the program to the Touch so that you can use the GPS I tried to show them that they even have the GPS in the settings so that you can chose which port you would like the GPS to use for programs....they couldn't figure it out .....they're idiots would any of guys like to work at sprint you all know more than them $5.25 per hour fools

Do you have any software to track what programs are running in the background? It sounds like a program is running and has control of the cpu. It may be the IM program. I'm guessing about that because I don't have it installed. It seems that something is constantly polling either the cpu or ?net which is degrading your speed.

Try to isolate what programs are running at what demand on resources they are using. acbPocketSoft's acbTaskman can help you with this. Hope this helps you out.

They make a lot more than 5.25 first off, and secondly, nobody but Sprint knows for sure if the GPS will be activated or not. Its been semi-confirmed but nothing official, unlike the Mogul.

mine erased all of ma pics n wont even save anymore that i take it also erases ma ringtone files
