I've always shut that off Pre-GPS-Craze for battery purposed.

That said, my battery has been fine.

Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen (w/ NEW Sprint Leaked ROM)

I successfully installed leaked rom. GPS and everything seems to work fine except my data speeds are awful. I am in Baltimore/DC area and before the upgrade, Rev 0 seemed to work fine. Am I missing something?

Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen (w/ NEW Sprint Leaked ROM)

Is there anyway to remove htc guardian? dotfreds task manager says its going and it can be killed but it always starts back up again. It's not in the startup menu (only in /windows) and you can't delete it or name it something else. Any ideas?
cheers

I'm in the same area. I'm getting in the 900 range for DL outdoors. 1/2 that indoors. Still much better than before REV A. I don't know what I'm getting for upload. I'm on the OMJ ROM.

What speeds are you getting?

just make a blank txt file with the same name (including the exe extension of course) and paste it in there and tell it that its ok to overwrite. im not sure this is completely safe though. are you trying to change your dns or something? for a safety precaution i would just recommend copying your original to an alternate location first. good luck!

If so this is what I realized. It doesn't update your PRI and gives you a PRL that doesn't work. If you update your PRL after running that ppst.exe you'll be working again. I'm trying to get someone with the Sprint leaked rom to give me a copy of default.ppst because I believe that's the file that ppst.exe uses to update the PRI. As far as prl i'm just going to rename my 60711.prl to 20230.prl and dump it in the windows folder.
Don't know what you are doing with the CAB. There is no need to use or do anything with that file. The Customizations do what's needed with that file.

All you need to do is once it's done and reboots, is look for the PPST.EXE file in the windows directory, which will be hidden, so you have to tell file explorer to show all files, and run it. Soft Reset and check your PRI.

Also the latest and newest PRL is 60612, 60711 is older and for data cards.
Done,

-CC

Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen (w/ NEW Sprint Leaked ROM)

I just ran the leaked Sprint update and Customizations seems to be stuck at around 90% (the part where it installs Opera). It's been that way for about 10-15mins.

What should I do?

try giving it a hard reset (always good practice after flashing) and letting it try again.

Worked like a charm.

Thanks.
