they wont charge you $300. they just try to scare you into sending it back. they can no longer hit your sprint bill and if they even tried to hit your credit card, that is an easy charge to deny. i am keeping mine.

Seriously? Isn't that risky? Does it say anything in the paperwork they send you? I've never done anything with Asurion. When I got my Mogul replaced with my TP, it was through Sprint so they did it as a sale/credit so I got to keep the Mogul but I would think you have to send your phone back. Otherwise, couldn't I just put my messed up TP on my wife's account and have her do the same thing to get a new TP?

I am keeping mine. Worst case, they try and hit me for $300 so I will then send it in. But I really don't know how they can unless they bill your sprint account. The supervisor told me that they no longer do that and do not have access to that. Who knows if it is true or not, we lie, they lie..it's just a big game..I am keeping it and will send it back if i start sending threats only

might be some truth to that; last Feb I filed a claim, Asurion sent me a refurb'd TP....I complained about it and then they turned around and sent me a TP BNIB. I then sent both phones back in each's prepaid envelope. Well, when I talked to the lady at Asurion last Friday evening, she noted that I hadn't returned the previous phones.....and I told her I did............so maybe they don't keep up with returns.

...the two phones I sent back was my original TP with the chipped chrome and the refurb'd one.

I searched the thread and never found an answer to the question. I just got my confirmation e-mail for my tp2 (SCORE!!!!), it says the weight is 1 lb. Is that going to be NIB or refurb? The not so nice lady at asurion wouldnt tell me after I wouldnt let her send me a tp1 because the other nice lady promised me a tp2.

Probably a mogul if they're in stock. If they're not in stock, it'll be a TP1.

just got home to a new tp2. too exiting.i lost mine last fri.(just in time i guess) made a claim that morn, waited all weekend, got it today, and activated it, lo and behold. tp 1 found. i got a call from a cab driver. lol. imma send the tp1 in to them tho just for good karma.
