Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2
Turned down by a supervisor and a rep. I use the weekend story but they checked my notes and said I wasnt offered those other models at all, and since they have the TP in stock, thats the phone I'm getting.
Supervisor didnt budge at all and Rep was was a prick. |

Ok, here's my question then. I have the TP on my line with TEP. My dad's line I just upgraded to the TP2. If I activate the TP2 on my line and the TP on his line, how will the TEP work? |

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2
if you decide to switch phones for the different accounts you may do that and then add the TEP when you switch to the ones you want to keep. then i guess the next day or whenever, you can file the claim if thats what you wanted to do.

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2
Okay there are stories in this and the almost identical thread that may or may not work. Call in a few times and change up with a different story but DO NOT change the damage or w/e originally claimed because you'll get shot down quickly.
Something that seems to work for others is the fact that the keyboard and overheating problems arise. try using that as a base but switch up telling them that they offered you phones including the TP2 over the weekend and you wanna go with that. or just simply ask them whats available and keep reiterating that you like the Windows Mobile and physical slide-out keyboard. Hope this helps someone. |
