Argh... Just checked Fedex tracking and it told me Delivery Exception! I wasn't home! I thought they could just drop it off...

Anyways, I called Fedex and I'm just going to drive by and pick it up from their location tonight before they close. No biggie but I did want to go home and hook it up to a charger so I could have fun with it tonight... Darn

as of now, the Tp1 is in stock. So they are going to insist you take that. The only way to get a TP2 right now is to talk to a supervisor and make some story how you called on weekend and they told you to choose 1 of 5 phones. Also say you have been on this call for almost 1 hour now transferred around to everyone. Say the last person you were talking to was ordering it for you and then you got transfered again. They will give in soon enough. Or you can wait til the TP2 is back in stock and TP1 is not.

I just got off the phone with Sprint after talking to them for 45ish minutes and I guess they can only send me a BNIB TP. Not the TP2. So what should I try next and how long should I wait? She said im gonna get charged the full amount $5**.** and they will credit me as soon as they get the broken TP I have now.

you have to call asurion and not sprint. sprint won't do a thing for you.

I simply called them told them that over the weekend (didnt actually call this time...) I was offered the BB Curve, HTC Snap, Treo Pro, HTC Hero, and HTC TP2 and that I wanted to look them over and call back. I called back on Sunday and this is when they said the TP was back in stock, I told them that I didnt want another TP and woudl call Sprint and see if they could help.

Called this mourning and did not mention the Hero as I think this is what got me in trouble to begin with. Just said I needed to talk to a supervisor. Supervisor got on phone told her I got confilicting replacement phones and she offered me the TP2 with free express shipping, so easy. Didnt have to argue or plead....

Now to look over my ROM options for the TP2... thanks for the help guys and hopefully this helps someone else.

hey guys, are you all sending your TP 1 back or holding onto them? i remember back when this was going down with the mogul most folks kept their mogul and was never charged the $300 fee.
