might be some truth to that; last Feb I filed a claim, Asurion sent me a refurb'd TP....I complained about it and then they turned around and sent me a TP BNIB. I then sent both phones back in each's prepaid envelope. Well, when I talked to the lady at Asurion last Friday evening, she noted that I hadn't returned the previous phones.....and I told her I did............so maybe they don't keep up with returns.
