Your right on that..I got like 2 replacements by taking the phone into the sprint store, bad keyboard twice...and both times they were refurbished, just the phone no accessories and had to use same battery..Now I just wanted the TP2 so i went through the insurance..paid the 100 bucks upgraded with a NIB fully kitted phone as the service rep put it and don't have to use my upgrade without having to sign another 2yr agreement....

That's a good point that you don't lose your upgrade money and that you don't have to extend your contract by paying the deductable.

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2

Just got done with Asurion...Got my TP2 on its way. I'm a Verizon customer and finally got this processed. $89 for the claim and she's on her way, and will be here tomorrow.

If anyone else on Verizon has problems, just stay the course, ask for the next level of management and they'll get you the TP2. Make sure you tell them that the RAM isn't what you had, you need the physical keyboard and the touch screen, with WinMo.

I have the Alltel TP with 288mb of RAM so the Verizon version with 192mb isn't the same hardware device

Good luck to all

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2

Well phoneclaim.com shows a Treo Pro as a replacement.

Then I call them and they said NO on the Touch Pro 2 since they have been "out all morning"

BTW, whats the deal with faxing? What year are we living in that I can't email this damn form?

For the other faxers out there, let me know when you hear from these jokers.

Well I guess the rest of use are screwed then... Guess I might take the Tour, sell it and buy the TP2 that way? Am I able to get the Tour with the SERO plan or will they make me change my plan right there just to get it?

No faxing needed from my order, just got the conformation email that the device is on its way, overnight delivery.

Well you can do a mock up on www.phoneclaim.com but as far as what the rep told me.

Yes, I would like to see what other responses other members are getting.

The rep didn't even offer me a Touch Pro.

She told me HTC Snap, Treo Pro, BB Curve or Tour. I said no thank you, those phones are nothing like my touch pro and I would like to request a Touch Pro 2 and she hung up on me.
