Asurion replacing TP with TP2

Man we all got lucky gettin out TP2s early. I checked my shipping info again and its in indy why cant I go get it..... makes me sad .

One thing I did notice was it said 1lb to begin with now it says 2lb weight.... so strange lol oh well as long as it comes who cares.

The weight was the same with mine. My package came to the dest sort facility near my house and now it says its back at tennessee. I dunno why they would send it back. I hope i still get it on monday.

Shipping damage? that would really suck.... lol. If it dont come on time then you got an excuse to get it free or something?

ya same here, it got here today at the facility at 6am, and it also change from 1lb to 2lb weight, weird.

Maybe someone can help answer hear... Supposed to have a TP2 coming, local mgr having it shipped to store. gave me a "warehouse order #" but don't know how to confirm that it's actually being shipped w/my name on it... the number she gave doesn't conform to the online lookup format. Anyway to match the number I have to an order?

Looks like this may be winding down over at Asurion. I dropped my phone in a cup of coffee yesterday (don't ask.) I found this thread today so I headed to phoneclaim.com.The website said BB8330 as a replacement so I called in. I played dumb, said I thought maybe they had the wrong phone in their records since the website said BB8330 and I had a Touch Pro. She did some typing on her end and said that she would be able to replace my phone with a TP, not a BB. I asked if it was the same phone that I had, she said yes. I asked if it was a new or refurbished phone, she said she couldn't tell but all their phones have a "12 month warranty" regardless of being new or refurbished. (We all know it's refurbished.) I told her I'd check with Sprint to see if my contract was up first.

Perhaps they HAVE gotten some TPs in stock? (I'm in WA if it matters)

I think I want a Hero anyway...

Call again and tell them that the last representative you spoke to, offered you a Treo Pro, a Snap and blackberrys. Tell them you cannot get a Blackberry bla bla bla u love windows mobile and that the other phones arent comparable. If she offers you a Touch Pro again ask for a supervisor. Tell the Supervisor if he can make an exception that you would not want to pay $100 for a touch pro since they have alot of problems and if there was any way you can get a TP2. AGAIN, THIS IS ONLY IF THEY SAY THEY HAVE A TOUCH PRO TO SEND YOU. Hope this helps.

just checked asurion online... replacement 6850... double boo. looks like they have them back in stock. oh well.
