Re: I should sue htc/sprint this velcro case suck

I had been using the velcro case for about four months now with no problems and then earlier in the week it finally decided it didnt want to work anymore. My phone fell while i was walking up concrete stairs, and managed to bounce all the way to the bottom. I wrote an email to sprint suggesting that they go back to the magnetic one for the TP2 and was surprised by the response.

I was advised to take my TP into any store for a free replacement, and also to pick a better case for free, if I dont like any they have at the sprint store I can buy one and send in a copy of the receipt for a refund.

This really surprised me, I did not ask for a replacement, just sent a suggestion, while expressing my dissatisfaction with the included case. This shows how far their CS has come over the years.

+1 I can only hope that some of you end up with kids that use this behavior against you......dad borrowed me a car that doesn't go fast enought, I know, I'll drive into a tree and wreck this one so he has to give me the BMW.

I know they switched to velcro cuz they said magnets damage the touch features of the screen but now my phone is even faster ruined. Now i gotta go find a way to make sprint replace my phone and im past the 30 days so when i get the replacement no way will i be using this case ever again do u guys know a place wherei can find a nice case for the phone with a stronger velcro or some other means of closing and also any ideas on how could i go about getting this phone replaced?
By the sounds of that i would stop getting carring cases. and go with the good old put it in your pocket.

You could try the case from seidio online (i think there's a holster you could buy for it if you're into that sorta thing):

.

I picked up the maroon one the other day. LOVE IT! Gives the phone the feel of the touch vogue where it feels less likely to slip out of your hand. Makes my phone look like it was made in maroon. LOL

I have thought about the total body guards, but just haven't tried them yet.

The sprint hard case is HORRIBLE!!! I honestly thing it is why my keyboard and screen are acting goofy. It is ridiculous to get off. Luckily it didn't scratch anything.

THe Seidio case... Is easier to get off if you do it right and no damage at all.

Re: I should sue htc/sprint this velcro case suck

Same thing happened to me the other day. The velcro has no stick to it at all now, and the phone popped out and slid face down on the tile for a few feet. Now there is a crack in the chrome in the corner. Then it happened again yesterday when I was sitting down in my office chair, but that was only a couple feet to the carpet floor.

Do you have the protection plan for your phone?
