well, up until now, i have been reading this thread thinking "hmm, my velcro case is fine"... today i was walking across the street and happened to look down just as it fell out of the case onto the concrete... it fell on the corner and busted the crap out of the chrome and cracked the corner of the screen.
any suggestions before i claim it on insurance? not happy right now :\

hahaha sorry, welcome to the club!
yeah that happened to me but on carpet and the chrome still fooked up can you believe it? so mine isn't in BAD shape, it's just not mint condition anymore. and no you can't do a thing about it unless you want to pay $100 or $150 for replacement. Sorry!#!
