Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
1) No you didn't do anything wrong. In my original post it explains that the "Recent" programs list will only show icons for programs listed in the actual "Programs" folder, not the new subfolders (along with an explanation why I opted to take advantage of that fact).
2) The calendar on the Manila Home page is already linked to the Windows Mobile Calendar app out of the box, and it is not changed in any way by my cleanup. Therefore, any appointments you sync to the phone via ActiveSync (physical connection or over-the-air with an Exchange account) will appear on the home page automatically.

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
After a while, I noticed this kinda messed up my phone a little like making program icons disappear in the programs list and stuff like that... Oh well... thanks for trying

Oh, I see. I guess I tried to read too much too fast. Thanks again. |

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
Shouldn't this be in the CDMA subsection? It just seems logical since any sprint touch pro is using CDMA. I searched and searched for this thread in that section and couldn't find it.

Besides, it's linked to by the Baffle's Essentials thread, and it's stickied at the very top of the Touch Pro forum which I'd say is pretty easy to find. Last edited by GoodThings2Life; 02-26-2009 at 09:28 PM. |

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
This would be my first time posting on this forum, and I had a few questions. I read through all 33 pages of posts related to the Touch Pro Cleanup, and have not read of any similar issues.
1. For a long while before doing the reset, I was unable to open any images sent to me via e-mail directly from the message. I would have to Save the attachment, open my album and access it from there. I wasn't aware that it was a related issue until I recently did a hard reset, added my e-mail accounts, and noticed I was able to open photo attachments again. I ran the "tweaks only" version and afterwards encountered same issue, "Cannot display the attachment". It's a .jpg file. 2. Also after the Hard Reset and running the cleanup I noticed my phone lagged a lot... mostly when opening and replying to texts/e-mails. Sometimes the phone would freeze all together and I would have to do a soft reset. Any ideas or feedback would be Appreciated. Last edited by amexile; 03-02-2009 at 03:58 AM. |

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
1. If you deleted the Pocket.OL folder and its subfolders from the root of the phone, or if it was somehow not created, this problem could exist. Reinstall the Tweaks Only package, and it should create that.
2. What else have you installed and what other tweaks have you done? Have you used any other programs like Diamond Tweak or Advanced Config? If so, they have probably undone some of the settings. If not, another program may be causing an issue or it may just be a circumstantial issue based on the fact that Task Manager forces apps to close instead of just hide them. I would recommend going to Start > Settings > System > Task Manager and setting the X button option to "tap and hold to close" and see if that improves things for you. |
