Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)

So, basically, this is my #1 cab for my TP. Absolutely love it. I'm ok with rearranging the folders again and such.

My only issue is that I want the original folder Icons back for Games, Office Mobile, Programs, and Settings. Anyone know how to do this? I'm very nit picky. Lol.

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)

Just got a touch pro this weekend, added the battery performance cab and the sprint cleanup - thanks - so far so good.

One minor observation - I set one of the default pictures to be a contact picture - and it kept it

I am curious though about the internet sharing - it still only shows a drop-down for PC connection (USB/Bluetooth) and it works with my SERO plan... is the change you made to the registry hidden (in other words, I should NOT see a second drop down option, right?)

Yes, you won't see the difference. Old roms used to give you a drop down of Sprint or Phone as modem. This tweak just defaults the Sprint connection.

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)

First off, let me say that I love the way you've sorted everything out in this cleanup. Just got my Touch Pro yesterday and loaded two cabs: disable sms notification and battery tweaks cab. then loaded your cleanup cab. have not installed one program yet.

A few pages ago a guy said it made his phone slow. While I in no way think that it is slow at all, I do see just the slightest pause/lag in closing programs, opening sms messages, launching the start menu...things like that... touch flo 3d doesnt seem to be affected. I hard rest back to original to compare and confirmed there was just the smallest lag/delay.

Like i said, I'm not complaining, i love your cleanup. Do you get the same lag/delay as me? Could there be an explanation why its happening to me?

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)

I installed the Clean Up a few months back and love it! Just ran into my first snag and not sure how to fix it.

I had Google Maps and Slingbox shown as two of my seven allowed items that are shown on the "start" menu. I uninstalled Google Maps so as to install the latest version. The original Google Maps link in the start menu is now dead and appears to mbe unmovable. I've been to the "Menus" screen where I can choose which items in my Programs folder to display but every time I uncheck the dead Google Maps icon I get a message that says "cannot move item" and my only option is to hit OK. How can I remove the dead icon and replace it with the new one?

I'm pretty comfortable editing the registry, I just don't know where to look! Thanks.

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)

I installed sprint manila blue without disabling touch flo 3d in the today screen. I took it off when I realized what I did; and have yet to run TF3D because I'm scared it'll crash my system. Am I screwed? Is there anything I can do?

I get this lag IF I enable the "Small" icons version of the Start Menu. I have no idea why this is (other than perhaps a bug in the Sprint firmware), and I've spent hours trying to figure it out in the past. Fortunately, I prefer the large version anyway, so I just use it and all is well.

That's just a generic Windows Mobile Add/Remove Programs quirk. First, open File Explorer and navigate to \Windows\Start Menu ... you will probably see the "dead" link there, so tap-and-hold on it to bring up a menu, and then delete it. That should force it to go away.

Worked perfect, thank you.

Thanks for the tweaks man! I'm trying the normal one now. Hopefully the AudioPara.csv hack makes a difference for me cuz I can't hear on this damned device LOL
