I listed off all the hardware problems I was having & the Sprint tech said they had recalled 100k of these from inventory and that a revision to the hardware would start shipping in January. I don't know if he was saying they are reworking these units or what. I didn't really press him beyond that except to say that I planned on returning in January for a new one if that was the case. He gave me his card and said that he would have no problem swapping it if I continued to have issues.

BTW having said all of that, I don't think it would be that unusual if there was a version 3 of the hardware in the works. Our current versions hare version 2. I've seen multiple versions on past devices as well.

I HIGHLY doubt HTC would recall the devices.

They already spent a load of money the first time, and they were already having a profit cut just by releasing the phone in the Western market [they make more money in asia]

There is no reason they'd fix their mistakes unless someone has lit a fire under their a$$

They delete many threads that deal with TP Problems. I say "they" but I'm pretty sure I know which mod it is. The one that has a TP and says it's perfect. I sure wish mine was as nice as his.

Wasn't Me but the funny thing is under reason for deletion the Mod who remover it says it was removed per op. I'm not lying that's what it says.

I just hope everyone finds their perfect Touch Pro, (or whatever.)

That's all I am looking for. I wish I could combine all the TPs I have had, into one great phone. I am returning this one in about 45 minutes, (they are holding me one,) because 9 times out of 10, the A key on the SIP is unresponsive. The last phone I had was perfect in this regard

10/31 - crappy, heated up , battery life poor
11/3 - just as crappy, wass just on a 35 minute call and it heated up so much it wouldnt charge and died on me...
xx/xx - haven't gotten my 3rd yet
