11/7/08...Too early to document any issues, physically everything looks good. Got it only yesterday and I could feel the heat when I used the phone for a little while yesterday. Will run it through the basic tests and report back if I can find this thread again..

10/14 - no real issues. Not crazy about heat but not bad. Battery life no better than I expected but OK for my use.

You can easily get to the ##786# without activating. Just let the phone boot/customize. As soon as it comes up, run the code.

On that note, I'm on my 5th TP, 11/7/08, again, and this time, it seems to run a bit cooler, and the earpiece is much better (still not as good as any other phone I have ever owned.) The speaker is louder, (stock,) and the phone build quality is much better.

The screen, sadly, is one of the most unresponsive that I have ever used--even with sensitivity hacks. Most of the time, when scrolling through contacts, one of them gets selected, unless I push really hard. Also, the borders of the screen are terrible. If I open up notes and draw with the stylus to the edge of the screen, it stops about 1/4" from the side. If I jam the stylus into the screen, I can force it to work, but damn... that sucks

##786# just gets you there quicker, no confirmation or anything.

Got mine replaced last night. Build date 11/6

This one has much better screen sensitivity, esp on the edges. It still gets pretty warm, but only when I'm using WMWifiRouter. Not as bad as the last, but still....

There is a more noticeable gap on the left side (phone facing you). It has a lot of play in it. The battery cover isn't creaky like the last though.

I'm going to toy with it a day or two and see.
