I'd say 99% accurate at less than 3ft. I've gotten REALLY accurate numbers from over 10ft though... It's fun.

I just got mine today...build date is 11/2/2008.

Problem: faulty LCD. I have brownish/yellowish orbs being displayed on the lower part of the screen (portrait--right side in landscape). It's only noticeable on white or gray, but I'm trying to setup an exchange with Sprint. Other than the faulty display, the device works great.

New Pro 11/3/2008 Most of the main annoying isues are gone.
