FYI. BB has a HUGE stock of these "older" phones just sitting in their warehouse. My BB got in 4 separate shipments, even after being out of stock. They all ranged from 10/12 to 10/15.

It might have changed by now, but I don't care, since I returned the phone and got it through Sprint.

Re: Touch Pro Build Date

well if you live near small cities that only have one best buy like I do then they get new stock all the time...when i first bought it...it went out of stock 3 days later and it was out of stock for a week then came back in stock and next day out of stock again for a week and then I went got mines replaced...maybe they have a lot sittin at the warehouse but it surely not coming to my best buy...

True. My BB got 35 TPs on the first day. They always have had tons of them, (when they weren't out of stock.) Which happened 3 times already, and lasted about a week each time.

Re: Touch Pro Build Date

My build date is now 11/7. Still experiencing heat issues, phone doesnt charge after 30 mins if its connected to charger while talking with speakerphone on...interesting. Are ALL the pros defective?? My previous build 10/19 had the same issue. Ok so where's that battery thread started a while ago? I cant seem to find it anywhere

Re: Touch Pro Build Date

I swapped mine out today for a new one. It has a build date of 11/7. The rep told me that there will be a new production of these out in January that will fix a lot of the hardware issues. Take that for what it's worth.

In january? Did he mean a hardware fix for the old TP's as well or is he talking about new models? What does that mean...we're all screwed then?

Re: Touch Pro Build Date

Skeptic in me says that dude is talking out of his butt. HTC is not going to identify, find and fix anything hardware related on that scale in the span of basically two months--they're more likely to do ROM updates, but that's not on the hardware side.
