Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

10-13-08

I haven't had any issues, maybe I'm just lucky. My friend who has the same build date (we bought them at the same time) has the raised keys issue

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

Again, the raised lower section is like that so it will be flush when you install a screen protector.

I am aware (as my first phone had it) of the warped panel where the home button sticks curled up.

If your lower pad is raised and even all the way across that is not a defect, but a design function.

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

my build date is 10/17/2008 and i have issues with it randomly powering down from time to time randomly rebooting, gets a little slow and retarded once in a while (not as bad as the mogul) and battery life sucks, i pulled it off the charger and talked on it for about 20 minutes if that, than sent about 20 text, checked the weather about 3 times, than it gave me a low battery warning. it was off the charger for a total of 5 hours maybe 6. battery life is worse than any other phone i have ever owned. at least my mogul would last a couple of days.... but it was slow and retarded.

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

10/14
Speaker tinny sounding. With vol up all the way it is hard to understand the caller. Leaving it down a few levels is better, but not as good as the Mogul.
Raised Home key.
Right side edge not very sensitive.

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

My second touch pro is 10/12 and has zero major problems so far. I did make sure that the earpiece had holes all the way across the opening, my first one didnt and it sounded like crap.

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

10/14 hardware ver 2

Slightly raised home key - wouldn't of ever noticed without reading this thread
Screen not very sensitive - did regedit but still not smooth especially edges
Opera locks up every other day - soft reset required or using memmaid to kill processes
Originally had issues with complete system slow downs.. after loading all my tweaks haven't had any issues since.
Locks up if nuepower 1% battery status monitor is runnning while charging and the phones goes to sleep. Duplicated three times but doesnt happen every time.

Unlike most people I can't believe my battery life. Phone is on charge first time since Saturday morning with 6 hours of calls, 20 texts, and 30mb of data transfer on evdo. Phone was at 13% before hooking up the charger tonight.
A continous 2 hour call drains about 15% battery life.
When I first got the phone the battery lasted about 8 hours on standby. I was missing 50 to 66% of the calls due to not ringing through. Sprint tech gave me a new msid and my battery issues dissappeared along with issue of receiving calls.

1st Touch Pro - 9/28 would not charge, locked up every morning.
2nd Touch Pro - 10/12 clearcoat on home buttons bubbled up and flaked off.
3rd Touch Pro - 10/27 (my Bday!!) no problems...
