Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

10/25/08 here. After knowing that I need to close out apps when done, the battery seems OK. I still need a longer lasting battery though. I can get through most of the day with moderate use and only have about 2-3 bars left. It runs a little slow for my taste for some reason...lags a lot. Hope they come out with a downloadable fix for it. No other issues here.

There is a setting in the Task Manager that you can select so that by default anytime you press the little x button, the application closes completely instead of hanging around in the background. That way I don't have to manually go around shutting stuff down, I just exit out of stuff when I'm done by pressing X and I know it will go away.

Wow - what is a new msid? I mean what does that mean? What do I say when I speak to Sprint to make them give me the same thing? I'm not getting anywhere close to that kind of battery life.

My main complaint to the tech support was that I was not receiving all of my calls. You can read my complete description about the issue at this link: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=233

For a quick what is MSID and what was done read below:
From wikipedia:
Quote:
Mobile Station ID (MSID) is the number that is associated with the home service provider and the wireless phone number. This is reprogrammed when the user changes home service providers.
When I came to Sprint my phone number was ported from ATT (2 years ago). When I upgraded from the 6700 the msid stayed the same. Tech support solved my problem by programming a fake msid into my phone and then having me do a profile update. This is how they changed my msid. Now the phone works wonderfully.

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

Personally, I really don't mind the slightly raised home button. I use the home button more than any other button on there and its just more convienient to push. But thats just my opinion.
