I have a 10/14/08 with a warped lower screen & minor volume issue. The wierd thing about the screen is that I have checked out 4 other TPs @ 2 different BBs 2 weeks after I got my TP and they all had this. Any thoughts on this?
Yes, I have this same issue. I was looking at it many different times thinking I somehow put a "dent" in it. Thats what it looks like. its right next to the htc logo. You can only really see it int he right light and reflection, and I cant feel it.

Build date: 10/26/08
Received on 11/05/08

Volume seems lower than my mogul, but still audible.
Raised home key, sometimes its REALLY high almost as if soon it will be elevated enough to see under it. After pushing it down with a little force it stays in place for quite a while. (I still plan on getting it replaced for this reason) I haven't noticed any battery issues. Like my mogul, I can use it all day, and depending on how many calls, internet usage, and texts i send, it lasts until I go to put it on the charger at night. With the same usage my mogul would die a few hours before my touch pro, so I'm pleased with that so far.

Build date 11/2

- Screen sensitivity issues around corners
- Uneven lighting on the keyboard

Everything else seems fine.

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

10/20 build, no real issues yet. Knock on wood.
Headphone/earpiece is kind of quiet though.

EDIT: Realized I do have the charging/overheating issue when pushing the phone (streaming audio or video, using BT earpiece)

Actually, I activated it using the website and it didnt work, so I had to manually activate it entering my MSID and phone number. I followed the unlock code I received from the website. After this, both data and phone worked well, I think I hard reset it right after that.

Good luck!

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

10/14/08 build date (BB stock)

no issues at all...other than the sub-par (but not horrible) battery life, but I think thats just a design flaw, not a manufacturing issue. I did do a hard reset, and things seemed a little snappier.
